Just made our first batch of homemade goat cheese using local, raw goat milk. It was so easy and is incredibly delicious.
Just built a trellis for the raspberries! Also put in another mason bee box.
We found this little guy separated from his mother outside our back door.
The garden is going off! We’re ready for our first harvest of the season.
We’ve got a broody hen! We appeased the last one that did this by replacing an egg she was sitting on with a young chick in the middle of the night. I don’t think we have the capacity for that this time around so we’ll just have to wait her out!
The blossoms have been coming in strong on our apple tree! Those mason bees do their jobs well.
The garden is growing! Starting to see lots of healthy arugula, broccoli, chard & spinach sprouts come up.
